I'm no expert, just a guy

A little about me, I am a 26 year old man. I am a soldier in the 116th Cavalry brigade, currently deployed to Iraq. During this deployment in talking to my girlfriend back home she would often tell me about a way a boy was acting or talking and I would tell her what his intentions were and she would often respond with something like, "Boy's should come with a manual." So I thought I'd attempt to begin that manual in the form of a question and answer blog. Please send your questions about what guy's think or how to act around guys to TheMansPerspective1@gmail.com (I don't know who already had themansperspective, maybe I should email them and find out.)

For my first entry I will retell an incident that happened recently. Someone I was talking to recently told me her friend wanted to break up with a guy but didn't know how. The details were that she had had a long distance relationship with this guy and when they were finally in the same city, she decided she din't like him, but she didn't want to hurt him in the breakup. I told her she could easily break it off and make herself seem like the good guy, all she had to do is tell him that the relationship wasn't going anywhere and that she felt like she was holding him back from opportunities to date other girls. She got on the phone and tried it almost immediately, it worked perfectly and as far as I know she is still happily single.

I may not tell the whole truth but I give you The Man's Perspective.

(If I get enough material I may someday compile it into a book so this is your legal notice that whatever you send me in emails or type on my comments becomes my property and I can edit and print it as I see fit.)
